Ramadan - Diabetic and Pregnant

As-salam Walekum, My wife is a diabetic patient and also pregnant. Doctors have strongly advised her not to fast this ramadan. They have also advised after her delivery she should not try and make up the fasts as her recovery will be longer and also she is going to breastfeed. What can she do to make up for her fast?  Jazak Allah Khair
